The following lecture notes have been created between 1995 and 2011 to provide 1.) an introduction into nearly all data communication topics (historical, legacy and modern) and 2.) a compact background reference for recalling already understood topics just on demand. I regulary improve the lecture notes (marked differently to avoid duplicate downloads). You can use these modules freely on your own risk 1.) for you private self-study purpose and 2.) for non-commercial education (e.g. universities, schools, ect.) as long as you take the course material as it is and do not change the material (especially authors copyright notice) in any way.
