Lebenslauf

Dr. Alexander Wendt arbeitet als Projektassistent auf der TU Wien, Institut für Computertechnik (ICT). Nach dem Studium Technische Physik auf der TU Wien arbeitete drei Jahre als Safety Engineer bei der Firma Frequentis AG. Von 2010 bis 2016 arbeitete er am Institut für Computertechnik an seiner Dissertation im Bereich künstliche Intelligenz. Seit 2011 ist er in der Energy & IT Gruppe tätig. Seine Forschungstätigkeit konzentriert sich auf den Gebieten künstlicher Intelligenz sowie Smart Grids. Fokus seiner Arbeit liegt in der Entwicklung von Softwarearchitekturen, die ihren Einsatz als Server, Agenten oder Steuerungsprogramme in Smart Grids-Projekte finden. Seit 2014 arbeitet er an die Anpassung und Umsetzung kognitiver Architekturen als Steuerungssysteme von Gebäuden und anderen Applikationen. Er hat 20+ Papers publiziert. Bei IECON 2013 war er Session Chair für die Sessions „Cognitive Architectures and Multi-agent Systems” und “Smart and Universal Grids”. 2016 wurde er auf die ERF 2016 (European Robotics Forum) zum „SPARC Workshop on cognitive robotics”, wo er für die Arbeitsgruppe der kognitiven Architekturen zuständig war.
