My academic life in brief.

Brief Curriculum

I am currently an Universitätsassistent (officially translated and loosely equivalent to Assistant Professor) at TU Wien (Technical University of Vienna), Institute for Computer Technology (ICT). My research expands from low-level circuit design to high-level system design.

I am a PhD graduate of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at University of British Columbia (UBC), Vancouver, Canada. Accomplishing my degrees with A+ GPAs, I have been granted several awards and scholarships from attended universities and conferences.

I have authored two books and published more than 40 papers in various journals and conferences which, according to Google Scholar, have been cited thus far more than 350 times. I have served as a reviewer for several journals and conferences as well.

My teaching experience includes holding courses on Electronics Laboratory, Robotics, Subject Deepening (Fachvertiefung), as well as System-on-Chip (SoC) Architecture Design, Seminar and Laboratory. I have (co-/)supervised 10 students by far and have 11 under supervision.

I have been one of the founders of Self-aware cyber-Physical Systems (SelPhyS) workshop and a member of its organizing committee thus far. I have also chaired the Wireless Mobile Communication and Healthcare Conference (Mobihealth) in 2017. I have been a guest editor of special issues in "Mobile Networks and Applications (MONET) Journal" and "Sensors" as well.
