Curriculum Vitae

Since his graduation from the HTL Wiener Neustadt, Stefan Kollmann studies Media Informatics and Visual Computing, with focus on Computer Graphics, at the TU Wien. In parallel he worked from 2004 – 2014 for the Austrian automotive supplier Elektrobit Austria GmbH in the areas of Software development, initiation and assembly. Since 2013 he is a project member at the Institute of Computer Technology at the TU Wien, working in the fundamental research project SiMA and its application oriented spin off projects CogMAS and KORE. In the last years, his work focused on concept development in the cognitive domain, software design and implementation. During his time in the SiMA projects, he improved his knowledge and experiences with data and information visualization, with a special focus on its application in research projects and gained new experience in the application of multi agent systems, from their application as prototyping tool to the implementation of MAS based systems for cognitive and technical simulations. Since 2016 he is also involved in the Smart Grid research project iniGrid, where he developed additional expertise in cognitive control systems and distributed decision making as well as gathering experience on practical applications in Smart Grid usage scenarios.
