Lebenslauf

Hermann Kaindl übernahm Anfang 2003 einen Lehrstuhl am Institut für Computertechnik, den er bis September 2022 inne hatte. Dort war er mehrere Jahre als Institutsvorstand sowie als Leiter des Forschungsbereichs „Software-intensive Systems“ tätig. Ebenso war er mehrere Jahre Mitglied des Senats der Technischen Universität Wien, von Oktober 2019 bis September 2022 als ein stellvertretender Vorsitzender. Im "Ruhestand" arbeitet Hermann Kaindl an (geförderten) Forschungsprojekten. Bevor er an die Universität wechselte, war er Senior Consultant der Siemens AG Österreich, PSE. Dort konnte er mehr als 24 Jahre lang industrielle Erfahrung auf den Gebieten Requirements und Software Engineering, Human-Computer Interaction und Artificial Intelligence sammeln. Er ist Senior Member der IEEE und Distinguished Scientist Member der ACM.
